The following is a new program that has been put together for recruiting a dentist to Fairview, Oklahoma. We will provide a $25,000 incentive for the dentist to locate in our city, which is outlined in the Dental Recruitment Amenities Program.

Dr. Kelly Brown is willing to bring his program to Fairview, which will provide a new facility and state of the art new equipment for the new dentist to be a partner in the business. Dr. Brown's Program is outlined below.

Dental Recruitment Amenities Program

Funds Obligated For Two Years From Effective Date

For: First Contract Signer

This Program is a joint effort of the City of Fairview and Major County Economic Development Corporation.  The City of Fairview has committed $15,000 toward the fund while Major County Economic Development (MCEDC) has committed $10,000 toward the fund.  Total funding equals $25,000.

Total funds will be disbursed over a twenty-four (24) month period with one exception as denoted in the housing program.

Feature # 1:

Choice to pick amenities at a Fairview merchant/s of your choice not to exceed $5,000 in Fairview Bucks with possibilities of:

• Use of Life Fitness Center
• Fairview Public Schools Sports Pass
• Day Care Allowance
• Royal Theatre Pass
• Swimming Pool & Water Park Pass
• Convenience Stores
• Department Store
• Hardware Store
• Furniture Store
• Restaurants
• Groceries
• Bowling
• Golfing
• Hunting
• Fishing
• Services (Vehicle, Medical, Etc.)

Feature # 2:

Housing: Direct payment to landlord for rental house or apartment in Fairview or direct down payment for purchase of a home in Fairview not to exceed $10,800.  Major County Economic Development Corporation has authorized a one-time use of their $10,000 for this amenity at a real estate closing.

Feature # 3:

Student Loan Reduction

“Opt-Out” of portions of enticement Features #1 and/or  #2 and use difference toward repaying Student Loan.  Total benefits package cannot exceed $25,000.  Student Loan Payments will be made in monthly increments over the 24 months of community service.

MCEDC &/or City Treasurer will be responsible for disbursing funds directly to designated responsible recipients.
